How deep the machine park runs

Not “we have a big lathe”, but how many machines can actually take a part of a given diameter. A part that fits one machine depends on that machine; one that fits six has a different delivery security. Move the slider and see how many remain.

Machines that can take it
Public machining ceiling
Ø500 mm

The diameters are the publishable ones, after the catalogue figures have been corrected. Usable length is published for only some of the machines; for the rest it is confirmed on enquiry.

Why depth matters more than the peak

A park’s maximum figure says what was possible once. The number of machines covering your part’s diameter says what is possible when one of them is in service or tied up on another batch. The second question is the one that decides a delivery date.

Why the chart stops at the ceiling

One machine in the park takes more than the public ceiling, but the figure shown stays the public one. Anything beyond the ceiling is discussed per part, not promised on a website.

    No published envelope

These machines have no envelope in our data. They are left out of the chart not because they are smaller, but because we do not have the figure — and a missing figure is not estimated.

Wire EDM for complex contours, keyways and hardened parts that cannot be cut conventionally.

CNC wire EDM machine with reciprocating wire, for high-precision cutting of electrically conductive materials whatever their hardness. The process makes no mechanical contact, so complex contours, narrow slots, small radii and shapes hard to obtain by cutting become possible.
